51. Thomas David Sayer

This branch of the family is based on the 1865 census of Heuvelton (Town
of Oswegatchie) for Thomas Sayer. The information in the census record
corresponse well with Thomas David Sayer. The record says that Thomas was
aged 53 and born in England. His wife was Mary Ann, age 50, also born
England. Therefore Thomas was born in 1811/12 and Mary in 1814/15. Mary
Smallman had a correspondent that said that Thomsa D. Sayer died in 1869
and came from Canada in 1828-30. They had 14 children, the following were
listed with them at home in 1865.
He was married to Mary Ann Collins. Mary Ann
