131. John Calvin Sayer was born on 27 Sep 1854 in Macomb, St. Lawrence Co, NY. He resided at in 1880 in Copperville, , MI. He resided at in 1885 in Mesick, Wexford Co, MI. He died on 19 May 1939 in at the home of his daugther, Millie, in Bristol Lake, , MI. He was buried on 21 May 1939 in Antioch twp Cemetery, Antioch, Wexford, MI. He was a Lumberman and Farmer.
John lived most of his life in Crockery, MI. He married three times. All together, he 13 children. There is a newspaer acticle about his death that states that he had 14 children, but I only have record of thirteen.

The story goes that he got mad about something in Old DeKalb, NY and suddenly disappeared. He was not heard of for many years. Finaly he turned up Michigan, but never came home again. He was a real maverick. By 1960, his single linage was 142.

He was married to Almira Ives (daughter of Anson Ives and Jennett) in 1876 in Fine, St. Lawrence Co, NY. Almira Ives was born on 11 Jan 1854 in NY. She died on 22 Nov 1882 in Crockery, Ottowa Co. MI. John Calvin Sayer and Almira Ives had the following children:

333 ii. Grace Sayer was born in Sep 1882 in Ottowa Co, MI. She died on 10 May 1896.

He was married to Eva Elizabeth Dexter (daughter of James L. Dexter and Jennett Morrill) on 18 Jul 1883 in Nunica, , MI. Eva Elizabeth Dexter was born on 28 Apr 1857 in Kent Co, MI. She died on 8 Sep 1911 in Mesick, Wexford Co, MI. She was buried in Antioch twp Cemetery, Antioch, Wexford Co, MI. John Calvin Sayer and Eva Elizabeth Dexter had the following children:

342 ix. Thomas Henry Sayer was born on 19 Jun 1900 in Manistee, Manistee Co, MI. He died on 10 Jun 1912 in Antioch twp, Wexford Co, MI. Thomas was born crippled and never walked.

He was married to Anna Vilora Lee (daughter of William Lee and Rose) on 7 Apr 1916 in Wexford Co, MI. Anna Vilora Lee was born on 23 Apr 1879 in Bangor, , ME. She died on 10 Nov 1936 in Mesick, Wexford Co, MI. She was buried on 12 Nov 1936 in Mesick Sherman Cemetery, Mesick, Wexford Co, MI. John Calvin Sayer and Anna Vilora Lee had the following children:
