353. Edgar Byron Sayer was born on 22 Oct 1890 in Fine, St. Lawrence Co, NY. He was buried in Nov 1965 in Monumental Cemetery, Meridian, , NY. He died on 25 Nov 1965 in Cato, , NY. at home of his daughter Dorothy. His funeral was Jewel Funeral Home Saturday @9am in Cato, , NY. also at St. Patrick's Church at 9:30am, Rev. Elmer Heindle, pastor, officiating. He was a Barber. He was a barber in Watertown and vicinity and later a state inspector for barbers. Before his retirement, he sold beauty and barber supplies for the Mohawk Barber and Beauty Supply Company, Utica.

He was a member of Watertown Elks, Lodge 496, and has been a member of the Journeymen's Barber union since 1938.

He was married to Collice Frances Caulfield (daughter of Patrick Caulfield and Agnes Fraser) on 23 Jun 1914 in The Holy Family Chuch, Watertown, Jefferson Co, NY. with Rev. J.N. Beliamy officating. Collice Frances Caulfield was born on 2 Jan 1890 in Watertown, Jefferson Co, NY. She was buried in Jul 1977 in Glenwood Cemetery, Watertown, Jefferson Co, NY. She died on 23 Jul 1977 in Ogdensburg Hospital, Ogdensburg, , NY. at 6:30 in the morning. Her funeral was Schere Funeral Home in Carthage, Jefferson Co, NY. Rev. Alfred Ellis, Pastor of St. James Church, Cartage officiated. She resided in Watertown, where she graduated from High School. She was a member of the St. Paul's Church, Black River. Edgar Byron Sayer and Collice Frances Caulfield had the following children:
