of March 1892. Mortgaged to Lewis for 350 pounds @ 8%. Later, 25th of
Sept. 1894, mortgaged by Chapman to Sarah Ann Frith for 350 pound s @ 10%.
Master of the "S.S. Star", 59 tons in 1900 and 1901. Master of
the "S.S. Orion", 214 tons in 1902. Master of the "S.S.
Koonookarra", 165 tons in 1903. Master of the "Annie", 38
tons ketch on 31/5/1895 when she was stranded on the Mersey River bar.
He was married to Mary Ann Haine on 14 Jul 1888 in Torquay, Tasmania,
