425. William Clarence Gleason⁽¹⁶²⁾ was born on 26 Feb 1918 in Hammond, St. Lawrence Co, NY.⁽¹⁶⁷⁾ He died in May 1991 in Syracuse, Onondaga Co, NY. ⁽¹⁶⁷⁾ [GWC temp.FTW]

Born at the Gleason family farm, previously the Silas Robinson farm, located near Chippewa Creek

William served in WWII as a second lieutenant b-24 squadron, personel equipment officer from March 29, 1943 when comissioned at Yale University to July, 1945 when he left as a first lieutenant. He served in Italy and North Africa.

He worked as a civil and petroleum engineer - Painesville, OH, Martin Plastics, Blow Knox Construction, and was the President of Hass Construction in Jamestown, NY. In 1956 he opened W.C. Gleason Construction in Dansville, NY. Retired from Agway pretroluem division.

He was married to Anna Lorraine Davenport on 29 Aug 1945 in Hammond, St. Lawrence Co, NY.⁽¹⁶⁷⁾ Anna Lorraine Davenport ⁽¹⁶²⁾ was born on 25 May 1921 in Buffalo, , NY. ⁽¹⁶⁷⁾ She died on 11 Nov 1990 in Syracuse, Onondaga Co, NY. ⁽¹⁶⁷⁾ William Clarence Gleason and Anna Lorraine Davenport had the following children:
