This is a report of the Claude J Cory
family this last year of which a few things have happened. Last Easter we all meet
down at Lake San Antonio for that weekend. Cecil and Karen came up and Iva and Paul,
Sherry, Larry and Bryan were all there.
When we went to the Family Reunion In Colorado we though it would be
good thing to have the Reunion here this year and they agreed with us. We settled on
having it in June this time because we could not get any motel reservations in July or
August. We planed a full schedule of events for three days and every thing went off
just great. We had over forty people attend and we did not hear of any problems from
the people that came.
In July we went to Glass Creak over in the Sierra Mountains for two
weeks. This time we went around by the way of Nevada City to see Tina and Billy
Robinson for a day or so. We were there at Glass Creak for over two weeks.
Frank and Betty came over from Arizona and stayed with us a few days and the last
week we were there, Cecil and Karen came to be with us. Karen got some fish the
first day and that made her trip worth while.
We did go down to Lake San Antonio several times during the Summer, but
we did not do much after that. We did go down to Cecil and Karen’s in July for
their Birthdays. I forgot to say that Claude’s new hip that he got in
October of 1997 is doing just great. |
